# Créer une nouvelle catégorie

Les produits font toujours partie d'un certaine catégorie. c'est pourquoi il est facile de créer votre catégorie avant d'y ajouter un produit.

## Créer une catégorie

Vous pouvez créer une nouvelle catégorie en cliquant sur le bouton " nouvelle catégorie" à gauche de la page. Saisissez ensuite le nom de la nouvelle catégorie et validez.

Lorsque cela est fait, vous verrez le nom de cette nouvelle catégorie apparaître dans la colonne de gauche sur la page des produits.
