# Nieuwe categorie aanmaken

Producten maken altijd deel uit van een bepaalde categorie. Daarom is het gemakkelijk om eerst je categorie aan te maken vooraleer je er een product aan toevoegt.

## Categorie aanmaken

Een nieuwe categorie aanmaken doe je door links van de pagina op de knop ‘nieuwe categorie’ te klikken. Vervolgens vul je de naam in van de nieuwe categorie en je bevestigt.

Wanneer dit is gebeurd, zal je de naam van deze nieuwe categorie zien verschijnen in de linkse kolom op de productenpagina.
